Saint Lucia Forestry Stories
This is a book project that is a collective effort of contributors; professional colleagues, friends, associates who have either worked, or have family who have worked with the Saint Lucia Forestry Department. This effort started off back in 2011 and is an ongoing project. The vision is to compile a three-part account of Saint Lucia Forestry Stories; the first part, a historical account of how conservation evolved in Saint Lucia around the management of the island’s forests and wildlife, the second part, ‘forestry stories’ told through personal experiences and the final part; remembering those who made their mark in forest and wildlife conservation in Saint Lucia.
